About

About Me
Ever since I was little, I’ve always loved making sweets. The very first recipe book my mother bought me was a simple one for beginners, and every weekend I would make each recipe in order from the very first page. Looking back, I’m sure none of them turned out very well—but my family always said they were delicious, and I loved them so much for that. After becoming a pâtissière, even though I was often scolded, every day of learning felt truly enjoyable. I worked as a pâtissière in Japan for eight years, and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to create desserts in Canada, France, a traditional Japanese house, and the UK. Each place had different ingredients, tools, and expectations, and every time brought new challenges—but I found joy in those struggles and countless discoveries along the way. No matter where you are, people all seek the same thing: delicious sweets. That’s why my motto has always been—to create the best desserts possible, no matter the place, the ingredients, or the circumstances.

About My Story
It All Started with One Strawberry Shortcake
It was my first time in Canada when I made a strawberry shortcake for a friend’s birthday.
The reaction was beyond anything I had imagined, and I thought, “Maybe... I could actually sell this?”
That small realization became the very first step toward what is now caramel.
